Zaporizhzhia
Following the full-scale invasion of the Russian troops into the territory of Ukraine, the missionaries were activated in Zaporizhia, to which they had moved from an occupied territory. The CITA ministries were joined by the missionaries Ihor Pimenov and Ivan Kalev along with their families.
In the fall, the CITA missionaries Andriy Kovalenko and Oleksiy Ivanov moved together with their families to Zaporizhzhia too (before the war they were serving in the Donbass).
The team of CITA missionaries organized clubs, where children from poor families were fed. They also hold street evangelism, develop tent ministry and take care of the homeless.
As of 2017, the population of Zaporizhzhia was a little more than 740 thousand people.
