Social ministry plays a vital role in the mission of saving souls. By offering material support and meeting basic needs, ministers demonstrate God’s love to people from all walks of life:
- The elderly and people with disabilities
- Orphaned children
- Severely wounded soldiers
- Wives of fallen heroes
- Prisoners
- The homeless and low-income individuals
Ministers from CITA serve the elderly across all regions, visiting them in specialized care facilities, hospices, and in their homes.
Since 2014, the Christ Is The Answer ministry has been providing food assistance to people in need in Eastern Ukraine—especially during the early days of the Russian invasion in the Luhansk and Donetsk regions. In 2020 alone, more than 1,300 vulnerable individuals received food packages. During the 2022 Christmas charity drive “Visiting Grandma”, 500 food packages were delivered to low-income seniors to celebrate the holiday.
For orphaned children, ministers organize special kids’ events in different regions. Many of these children also take part in charity trips to the Carpathian Mountains, sponsored by CITA.
Some of CITA’s ministers also serve as chaplains, working in military hospitals and ministering to severely wounded soldiers.
Ministers in Mykolaiv have been serving prisoners for over 15 years. They regularly visit at least three correctional facilities in the region, conducting worship services, Bible studies, and large-scale evangelistic events.
For the wives of fallen heroes, particularly in Ternopil, CITA ministers organize themed gatherings to offer comfort and support.
In cities like Zaporizhzhia and Rivne, ministers regularly host street outreaches where they serve hot meals to the homeless and those in financial hardship.
