Missionaries in Ternopil held meetings with widows and severely wounded individuals

The missionary team in Ternopil, based at the “Bread of Life” church, organized a Mother’s Day celebration for women who have lost their soldiers and a picnic for severely wounded soldiers.
The program included a concert with songs about mothers and flowers, refreshments, words of comfort and hope for the women, prayers, and conversations. The missionaries provided support to the participants and their children during these times of irreparable loss of their loved ones.
At the picnic organized right next to the hospital where severely wounded defenders of Ukraine are undergoing treatment, the missionaries’ priority, as they say, was to listen to the pain of each individual and support their families during this difficult time.
“We plan to continue organizing such meetings to build closer relationships with widows and severely injured soldiers and their families. Our goal is to introduce these people to Jesus Christ, provide constant support and assistance to them, such as practical help with household matters if needed,” shared missionary Andriy.
The missionary team from Ternopil has been supporting internally displaced persons and those in need in various ways since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Russian forces in Ukraine: thematic meetings, art therapy, humanitarian aid, and home groups.
