Five missionaries work in the Eastern region of Ukraine. The ministry of mercy is developing the most: feeding the needy, providing humanitarian aid, visiting the poor, elderly and sick, and organizing children’s clubs, including the Superbooks program.
Two missionaries served in Donbas before Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine. They moved there in 2016 at the call of their hearts, having a special compassion for the people who already lived near the front line and needed spiritual and material support.
In 2022, the missionaries of Donbas moved to Zaporizhzhia, where they are active.
In the same year, two new missionaries joined the eastern team in Zaporizhzhia.
Among the main projects implemented are evangelistic events, evangelistic tents, food stations, visits to the lonely, assistance to the poor, distribution of printed materials and food packages, social and charitable projects, eye clinics, and work with children.
