Charity is at the heart of the “Christ Is the Answer” ministry in Ukraine and beyond
For CITA missionaries, it’s a way to reflect God’s love to our neighbors. We believe that every act of kindness, every extended hand, is an expression of mercy, compassion, and selflessness—the core values of our ministry.
Through charitable outreach, we aim to share the Good News of Jesus Christ, meeting not only the spiritual but also the basic physical needs of vulnerable individuals.
During the war in Ukraine, these acts of kindness have become a true ray of hope for thousands affected across the Southern, Eastern, and Western regions of the country. Thanks to the generosity of caring people, we’re able to provide shelter, food, essentials, and both spiritual and emotional support to those in crisis.
Our ministry extends far beyond Ukraine. We care for the needy in different parts of the world—poor and hungry children, the lonely, and widows in Ethiopia, Venezuela, Bangladesh, and other nations. Some of our key initiatives include:
- “Childhood without a Pause” is a fundraiser for summer camps for children in the war zone.
- “Home of Hope” — providing first aid and emergency help to displaced families in the Kharkiv region.
- “Thanksgiving Dinner for the Brave” — a special holiday outreach for severely wounded soldiers.
- “A Visit to Grandma” — caring for elderly people who’ve been left alone.
