“Mostly, I came to school to learn how to work with the wounded in military hospitals. Serving their families is an integral part of military ministry. That is why we help the families of military personnel who are currently at the front in various ways. We received certificates of chaplains, which will allow us to freely visit hospitals, military units and prisons,” shared Andriy, a missionary from Ternopil.

The training course included professional topics, for example, “Tactics and characteristics of the behavior of a chaplain in military service”, as well as specific ones – “Grief death notification and the rite of burial”, “Behavior in case of capture”, etc.

Zaporozhye and the region

The fourth club was organized by missionaries in Zaporizhzhia for teenagers from low-income families.

They say that, first of all, through such clubs, they want to make friends with children and help them learn about God’s love.

Games, contests, delicious dinners with friends, doing homework together with senior mentors, and interesting Bible study under the “Superbooks” program are what children have every time.

Hennadiy admits that he feels special, because the prison authorities address him with honor, although some of them remember how, before accepting God, he served his term in one of the colonies of the region.
