God Works Miracles! How CITA Missionaries’ Lives Are Being Transformed

Only God has the power to truly change a person’s life and fill it with meaning and purpose. His faithfulness becomes especially clear to those who dedicate themselves to serving Him. The Lord reveals His power through amazing transformations—in people’s lives, their health, and their families—as they follow His path. Christ Is The Answer missionaries are sharing testimonies of the miracles God has worked in their own lives.

“Our entire family is serving the Lord!”

Inna Titova, a Christ Is The Answer missionary, has dedicated her life to ministering to children and the elderly in remote villages across the Mykolaiv region. As a wife and mother of three, she had prayed for years for her whole family to serve the Lord together.

Today, those prayers have been answered: her husband has become her faithful ministry partner, her oldest son serves in a church in Western Ukraine, and her two daughters are actively involved in kids’ ministry.

Her dream has come true—but it wasn’t an easy road getting there…

“The greatest miracle God has done in my life was saving my husband. He struggled with severe alcoholism for more than 15 years, and our whole family suffered because of it. We prayed for so long, and many times we felt like giving up. But then, in just one moment, God changed everything! He completely delivered him from every addiction. And now, praise God, we serve together—we go to church together—our entire family is serving Him!” Inna shared.

“No more tuberculosis. No more Hepatitis C!”

Ihor Pimenov, a CITA missionary in Zaporizhzhia, is a true street evangelist. You’ll find him out and about in the city, sharing Christian newspapers and calendars on public transport. At the CITA Gospel tent, he offers counseling and prays for people, and together with a team, helps feed the poor. He visits those in shelters and organizes free eye clinics for the community. Whatever the method, Ihor is committed to being an answer to those in need.

“I had tuberculosis and Hepatitis C. One day I read in the Bible that God heals. I started praying and trusting Him. And God healed me! Just recently I got tested again—no more tuberculosis, no more Hep C. I’m going to keep living and praising the Lord!” he said.

Ihor has also seen God bless his marriage:
“My wife and I started doing ministry together and we’ve grown closer. That, to me, is a miracle. We’ve learned to trust each other more and open up about what’s on our hearts.”

“The surgery didn’t happen—God healed me!”

Last year, Viktor Pavlyshyn, a Christ Is The Answer missionary and pastor of a church in Nova Odesa (Mykolaiv region), was hospitalized with a 3-centimeter kidney stone. He was already being prepped for surgery.

Then a brother from his church visited and suggested they meet with another pastor to pray for Viktor’s healing.

“I remember right after we prayed, my brother pointed out that I was moving freely again—even though earlier I’d been in so much pain I could barely move,” Viktor recalls.

Right before the surgery, Viktor asked for one more ultrasound. The doctors weren’t happy—they were ready to operate—but he insisted.

“The kidney that had the stone—completely clean! No stone, no sand. And the other one, where there had been sand and small stones—it was clean too! I tried to explain to the doctor that I’m a believer, and that God answers prayer… So I didn’t have surgery. God healed me, and now I’m rejoicing and giving Him all the glory!”

Viktor also praises God for his wife, who serves with him as a team in the Mykolaiv region. She works with kids, and he ministers to their parents:
“No matter which village we go to, the kids always show up for our events—that’s Raia’s area. Then the parents come, and that’s when I jump in. That’s how we work together and celebrate how God has brought us into His mission!”

CITA currently financially supports around 20 full-time missionaries across Ukraine. These ministers are sharing the Gospel full-time in the southern, eastern, and western regions of the country.
