4 August 2022
At the beginning of the full-scale invasion of russian troops into Ukraine, the Christ is the Answer ministries opened the CITA WAR RELIEF FUND.
With the collected funds, CITA missionaries purchase and deliver food, medicine and other essential items to displaced persons and people living in war zones – elderly, lonely, widows, low-income families.
The organizers point out that for every $10 or about 360 hryvnias, you can buy one grocery package: an assortment of cereals, 1 kg of sugar, 2 kg of flour, 1 bottle of oil, a can of meat.
For the same amount, 5 people can have an ophthalmologist’s consultation and glasses as a gift in a charity clinic. Such clinics are held weekly in the western part of Ukraine for TDPs and local residents.
The Fund’s goal is $100,000 to help as many people suffering from the war in Ukraine as possible. As of today, almost $36,000 has been collected.
The team of missionaries of the Christ is the Answer serves in the Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv, Mykolaiv, Kyiv, Chernivtsi, Ternopil, Khmelnytskyi, Rivne, Transcarpathian regions.
Charity is one of the ministry areas of the Ministries which began its activities at the beginning of the war in Eastern Ukraine in 2014.
