“Thanksgiving Dinner for the Brave” campaign extended
6 December 2024
The fundraising campaign has been prolonged until December 16 for the brave who are being treated in hospitals in Ternopil and Mykolaiv. Children from the Zaporizhzhia and Mykolaiv regions, who are ministered to by Christ is the Answer missionaries, have joined the campaign. They will supplement the dinner with a handmade card of gratitude to the defenders.
“The main idea of the campaign is not only to provide the wounded soldiers with a delicious dinner, but also to thank them for their dedication and defense of Ukraine. To support them in prayer and show them attention. We are happy that the children under the care of our missionaries participated in the campaign and made their creative contribution. We want to involve more people to thank more defenders in hospitals in Mykolaiv and Ternopil,” said Maryna Poltavets, Regional Communications Manager.
The gift boxes containing a festive dinner for the wounded soldiers will be decorated with handmade cards made by children from youth clubs in Zaporizhzhia and Mykolaiv.
According to Inna Titova, a missionary from Nova Odesa, Mykolaiv region, children from the local “Skillful Hands” club will make cards in the shape of small felt bibles with a Bible verse inside.
