November Ministry events overview
8 December 2023
In November, CITA International Ministry prepared seasonal printed materials for free distribution in the regions of Ukraine in anticipation of the winter holidays, and missionaries in the Mykolaiv region opened a new kids’ club.
In India, the missionary school graduated its third class of students, and in Pakistan, missionaries continue to conduct eye clinics.
Ukraine
200,000 wall calendars of about 20 types were printed for distribution in 2024. Missionaries have already begun distributing the calendars in the East, West and South of Ukraine.
In November, nearly 19,000 copies were distributed. The calendars contain calls to prayer for Ukraine, a prayer of repentance, the Lord’s Prayer, etc.
After much preparation, missionaries from the Southern Region opened a kids’ club in the village of Mykhailivka, Mykolaiv Oblast.
During the service, the children had fun on an inflatable slide, ate popcorn and jumped on trampolines. The families also received humanitarian aid.
Each week in Mykhaylivka, missionaries interact with the children, organizing fun relay races, games, crafts and treats. For example, one of the communication topics was “Children are important to Jesus.
For the upcoming Christmas holidays, the ministry has printed about 20,000 gift boxes that missionaries and volunteers throughout Ukraine will fill with goodies and give to children.
India
The missionary school in India held another graduation ceremony, the third one.
“We rejoice, pray and bless. God is expanding the frontiers. The number of workers in God’s field has increased. The Gospel will be preached even more in Asia as the graduates will be evangelising in different parts of the country,” said Ministry Director Taras Sen.
Pakistan
This was not the first time a free eye clinic was held in Pakistan. 110 people attended the event in the city of Lahore and received a consultation and a free pair of glasses. People heard the Gospel and asked for prayer.
The organizers treated them to tea and sweets while a professional doctor checked their eyesight.
Christ is the Answer International Ministry has been working in Ukraine and around the world since 2014. It started working at the beginning of the Russian military intervention in the Donbass. Today there are more than 100 missionaries serving in 20 countries.
