FOOD&HOPE: a charity campaign for victims of the war in Ukraine has started

FOOD&HOPE. A charity event for the needy in Ukraine, suffering from the war in combat zones, and TDPs has started. The organizer of the campaign is the Christ is the Answer International Ministries. The campaign will last until October 10.

The organizers offer FOOD&HOPE participants to swap one trip to the coffee shop for food aid for one person and, by donating $10, to give hope to a needy person suffering from the war.

For millions of people in Ukraine today, $10 is a chance to live for 2 weeks and provide their family with essential food.In our country there are 2 million internally displaced persons , with more than 800 thousand Ukrainians having lost their homes, and 30% of the country’s population having lost their jobs.

The goal of the campaign is to raise $10,000 for 1,000 people for 1,000 food packages by October 10.

The food package includes: cereals (4 kg), sugar (1 kg), flour (1 kg), sunflower oil (1 l), canned meat (2 pcs.).

An important component of the humanitarian activity of Christ is the Answer Ministries is a prayer for people and sharing the Gospel when visiting people in homes, among bombed-out buildings, in centers for displaced persons, distributing food packages to them.

Each contribution is filling not only a food package, but also filling empty hearts with love and care.

Charity is one of the activities of the CITA ministries. Food packages are received by the needy in Ukraine, Ethiopia, Central American countries (Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras), and Bangladesh.
