Ethiopian Television Broadcasts CITA Ministry Programs

The CITA Ministry in Ethiopia has signed an agreement with the Christian television station GMM to broadcast television programs in the Amharic language: every week in the evening, local people can hear about Christ. 

“We have been working on this for a long time, overcoming various obstacles and praying for this cause. God works miracles through prayer. Christ is opening doors for the Gospel. Sermons, testimonies, Christian songs – all this can be seen by tens of millions of Ethiopians. A huge number of people in Ethiopia watch television, so the Gospel will reach many. We are already getting calls from people thanking us for the programs,” said Taras Sen, director of the Ministry.  

GMM TV International is one of the most popular television stations in Ethiopia. It provides entertainment and educational programs that encourage a Christian lifestyle and aims to make the Gospel accessible to people from all walks of life. 

Amharic is one of the most spoken languages in the country. 

In 2022, Christ is the Answer Ministry opened its first daughter church and mission center in Ethiopia in the capital city of Addis Ababa. Since 2021, ten major evangelistic crusades have been held in different cities of Ethiopia.
