Easter: Missionaries held a series of events in Rivne
17 May 2024
During the Easter season, Christ Is the Answer (CITA) missionaries at the local church of the same name distributed a themed issue of a Christian newspaper, held a children’s event, placed stationary billboards, and drove a mobile banner through the streets to remind locals of the true meaning of the most important Christian holiday.
To spread the Easter message, CITA printed 110,000 copies of the newspaper Christ is the Answer, which were distributed in Rivne and sent to other cities for the needs of churches.
During the holiday week, a car with a trailer carrying a mobile banner “Jesus died so that you could live” drove through the streets of Rivne.
And along the streets, stationery banners reminded us that Christ is our Easter.
Missionaries and volunteers of the Ministry organized an Easter celebration with songs, sweets and popcorn, contests and gifts for hundreds of children from Rivne and the region, including IDPs.
The youth watched the cartoon “Stories of the Good Book. The Death and Resurrection of Jesus”.
“We expect the children to attend Sunday school, kids’ clubs and teen clubs. We will pray that they and their parents will turn to Jesus, love Him with all their hearts, and live as He teaches,” said Diana Khrystiuk, the host of the event.
The local secular newspaper “Rivne-Rakurs” published Easter materials and greetings from Christ is the Answer Church.
Every year CITA missionaries hold Easter events in the regions of their ministry in Ukraine, including the West, East and South.
