“Demonology”: CITA Ministry to Release a New Podcast

This July, CITA’s YouTube channel will release a two-part podcast series on the topic of Demonology. Pastor Taras Sen, Director of the Ministry and lead pastor of a church in Rivne, will share from his own experience about the origin and manifestations of unclean spirits—and how to receive freedom from demonic influence.

Over his 24 years of pastoral ministry, Pastor Taras Sen, who leads the CITA Ministry, has spent the last 15 years helping people experience deliverance from unclean spirits—both in Ukraine and abroad, including during crusades in Ethiopia.

He believes it’s crucial for people to be informed on this topic so they’re equipped to stand firm and walk in the freedom already available to us through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ.

“My goal is to open people’s eyes to the reality of spiritual warfare,” said Taras Sen. “In many churches, this topic is either rarely addressed or handled in a shallow and inaccurate way. The spiritual realm is real. And when people dabble in sin, the occult, or things that are widely promoted today in movies, books, and online—they’re opening doors to demonic forces. Demons are not a myth. But I want everyone to know: there is deliverance in Christ. If someone falls into a spiritual trap, it’s not the end. There’s hope, there’s a way out through the Word of God. I believe the Church should not remain silent but boldly set captives free by the power of God.”

According to Pastor Sen, Jesus Christ revealed the reality of spiritual warfare during His time on earth and commissioned His followers to “cast out unclean spirits” (Matthew 10:8). He emphasizes that true deliverance only happens when the name of Jesus Christ is proclaimed in the power of the Holy Spirit.

In these episodes, Pastor Sen shares personal stories from his ministry, real-life examples of people who were once demon-possessed and later set free, and biblical principles for fighting spiritual battles.

In the first podcast, he explains who demons are—their origin, nature, purpose, and functions. He breaks down how they influence people and what signs point to demonic presence, with special attention given to the manifestation of the spirit of death.

The second episode focuses on how demons gain access to a person, what opens the door to them, and how deliverance takes place. It will also address common questions such as: Why don’t some demons leave right away? Why does deliverance sometimes take time and persistent effort? And most importantly—how can a person keep their spiritual freedom after being set free?

These podcasts aim not just to inform but to spiritually equip the Church—so that believers are prepared to stand against the darkness and minister deliverance to others.
