CITA Team Attends Global Leadership Summit

On November 28-29, the leading staff of Christ Is the Answer (CITA) international ministry took part in a large-scale, world-class event – the Global Leadership Summit (GLS) in Kyiv. During the event, the guests were introduced to the Ministry’s evangelism tools. 

The traditional annual event brought together more than 600 participants from all over Ukraine. They participated both in person and online.

“For two days, leaders received quality, practical advice from successful entrepreneurs, influential government officials, and world-renowned pastors. Participants of the live event had the opportunity not only to hear the speakers, but also to share advice with each other and to meet interesting people and speakers,” the organizers’ website said.  

During the opening of the GLS, Taras Sen, director of Christ is the Answer ministry, shared the example of the biblical leader Joshua.

Among the speakers were: Craig Groeschel, a world-renowned leader who is founder and senior pastor of Life.Church; Joni Tada, founder and CEO of Joni and Friends, advocate for the rights of people with disabilities, and best-selling author; Megan Fate Marshman who is a pastor, teacher, speaker, and author; Kindra Hall who is a storytelling expert and bestselling author. 

Taras Topolia, lead singer of the Ukrainian band Antytila, spokesman for the Youth Council under the President of Ukraine, was present in person. Pylyp Savochka, senior bishop and senior pastor of the Salvation Church, also joined the GLS, as did others.

“The Ministry had a great opportunity to present offline tools for ministry – games for communication, printed materials, Christmas boxes, and contact exchange. The opportunities presented were of great interest to the GLS participants. In one-on-one meetings, we were able to present the “Thanksgiving Dinner for the Brave” charity campaign. As a team, we had the opportunity to enrich ourselves with the knowledge of practicing leaders and be inspired by their speeches,” said Maryna Poltavets, Regional Communications and International Affairs Manager.  

Every year in Ukraine, the Global Leadership Summit is usually held in Kyiv, Chernivtsi, Dnipro and Poltava.  The event is aimed at church leaders, public figures, civil servants, entrepreneurs, industry professionals and students.
