CITA Missionary Conference to be held in Zakarpattia

On October 15-19, the Ukrainian missionary team of Christ Is the Answer International Ministry will gather for the eighth conference for spiritual uplift, fellowship and physical recreation. Traditionally, the meeting will be held at a retreat center in the picturesque mountains of Transcarpathia. 

The motto of this year’s missionary conference is the words of Christ: “Go and preach the Gospel.” 

“When we talk about the greatest commandment of Christ, it is to love one another. And when we talk about His main task for the Church, it is to go and preach the Gospel. In this way, we want to remind you that the main thing should remain in the center, because Christians today are distracted by secondary things. But it is through the preaching of the Gospel that people are saved for whose souls Christ died,” commented CITA Ministry director Taras Sen. 

Among the invited speakers of the conference are Bishop Oleksiy Demydovych of the Church of God in Ukraine, Bishop Anatoliy Bezkrovnyi of the Evangelical Churches of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, Ruslan Kukharchuk, media personality, head of the organization “All Together!”, Bishop Viktor Klets of the Evangelical Churches of Sumy region, and others. 

The program of the meeting includes joint meetings, presentations on the work of Ukrainian missionaries in the Western, Eastern and Southern regions and on the activities of the Ministry in the world, prayer breakfasts, hiking, excursions, socializing and recreation.  

CITA missionary conferences in Ukraine are held annually in the fall.
