Visiting lonely elderly in hospices and abandoned houses in various regions, seeing poverty and hopelessness, it is difficult to believe that in the modern world there are people who live in such terrible conditions: without basic necessities, water, food, gas, light, electricity … Often these people do not have any loved ones to care for them.
In addition to serious material needs, they are often deprived of love and support. They remain completely alone with their problems and feel abandoned by all. Therefore, it is important for them to know that God cares for them! Through visits and help of our missionaries, the Lord Jesus Himself comes to them. Often help from ministers of “Christ is the Answer” Ministries is the only support they get. In such cases, we can say that to love really means to serve!
““They also will answer, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?’ The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’” (Matthew 25: 37-40).
