For 17 years, the CITA Ministry has been using regional media to spread the Gospel across Ukraine.

In Ethiopia, partnerships with local media, including regional TV channels, began in 2021 when CITA missionaries first visited the country.

Since 2022, evangelistic programs from the Ministry have been broadcast on national television in Mongolia.

Television

The original program “Good News” by CITA’s director, Taras Sen, airs two to four times a week on regional TV channels in Ukraine, including:

  • iTV in Rivne;
  • Channel 33, TV7+, and Exclusive in Khmelnytskyi region;
  • Ternopil 1 in Ternopil region.

Taras Sen has shared about humanitarian and volunteer aid for displaced persons, soldiers, and residents of occupied territories. He has also discussed the establishment of eye clinics and missionary schools in India, Central America, and Africa on the program “Dialogues” on Rivne’s iTV channel.

As a guest on the secular YouTube channel RIVNE LIVE’s program “About Important Things,” Taras Sen spoke about how CITA Ministry and the “Christ is the Answer” church support people in Ukraine during the war and serve in Ethiopia and Latin America.

On the program “Answers” on the New Christian Channel, Taras Sen shared his experiences as a prisoner in Luhansk in 2015, the street tent ministry, and the themed billboards the ministry uses, particularly in Rivne region. He also discussed his spiritual journey, obedience to God, and how faith guides his daily life and ministry. He emphasized the importance of the Church being present in secular media.

Previously, the ministry director hosted programs on Rivne media, including “Does the Bible Say That?” and “Christ is the Answer” on Rivne 1, and “Christ Saves” on Rytm. He also appeared on TV channels in Luhansk (2016-2022), Donetsk, and Zhytomyr regions.

During crusades in Ethiopia, Taras Sen recorded evangelistic programs for the country’s national television networks.

In 2024, CITA in Ethiopia signed an agreement with the Christian TV channel GMM to broadcast programs in Amharic. Now, every week in prime time, local viewers hear about Christ.

Since fall 2022, Mongolia’s national TV has been airing the “Good News” program, hosted by Taras Sen, twice a week.

Radio

In 2022, Taras Sen participated in a program on “Svitlo Radio,” where he shared about his missionary work in Donbas and the founding of CITA Ministry.

Since fall 2023, spiritual and educational programs have been broadcast on “Respect” radio in Rivne and Khmelnytskyi regions. Taras Sen speaks as the pastor of the “Christ is the Answer” church, which has been active in Rivne for eight years. His 10-minute segments aim to share the Gospel.

Print Media

Articles about the ministry’s work are published in regional print media in Rivne, including the newspaper “Rakurs Rivne” and the magazine “Rivniany.”

CITA has been collaborating with “Rakurs Rivne” for four years. This weekly newspaper has been in circulation since 2001, publishing every Thursday with a print run of 9,500 copies. Each month, it features four pages about the activities of CITA Ministry and the “Christ is the Answer” church, faith in God, and a special section for children titled “Spiritual Perspective.”

“To expand your newspaper’s readership (referring to ‘Christ is the Answer’ – ed.), we suggested including a supplement in ‘Rakurs Rivne.’ Maybe some readers will discover God,” said Volodymyr Koniev, director and chief editor of the Rakurs information and advertising agency in Rivne, in an interview.

In the same interview, Koniev shared that the newspaper independently published an article on demonology, stating that the topic has gained more relevance during the war.

“Demonic influence is a real issue, but for some reason, people avoid discussing it. We call things by their name and tell people the truth: if you feel ‘tormented’ by something, you should go to church, pray, and seek a pastor’s help,” emphasized Volodymyr Koniev.

The “OHO” publishing house and the “Rivniany” magazine have been interested in Taras Sen’s work for five years. During this time, the magazine has published sermons, articles, testimonies, and news about the “Christ is the Answer” church and CITA Ministry. It has featured content about Taras Sen’s work three times.

For example, in October 2022, Taras Sen appeared on the cover of the magazine as a person “who continues to bring victory closer and does a lot for Rivne and the entire country during these difficult times.”

“Rivniany” introduces locals to extraordinary people from the region, aiming to inspire them with creative projects and new opportunities.

Online Media

News, reports, articles, and other materials about the international “Christ is the Answer” ministry are periodically published on Christian news websites, including “Invictory” and “Yeshuah,” as well as in socio-political publications like “Sobor,” “Word about the Word,” and on the “Svitohliad” news agency website. They are also featured in “Christian News” and “RISU.”

Reports about the ministry’s work have also appeared in secular media in Rivne, Zaporizhzhia, and Ternopil, and previously in Luhansk.
