Christ is the Answer Ministries (CITA) launched the FOOD&HOPE charity initiative to bring relief to Ukrainians affected by the war — residents of active conflict zones and internally displaced families.
The campaign ran through October 10, 2022.

How does it work?
The organizers encouraged everyone to take a simple but meaningful step: skip just one coffee shop visit and use that money to help feed someone in need.
Just $10 — and you give not only food, but also hope.
Each food package includes:
- Grains (4 kg)
- Sugar (1 kg)
- Flour (1 kg)
- Sunflower oil (1 liter)
- Canned meat (2 cans)
Why does it matter?
- Over 2 million internally displaced people in Ukraine
- 800,000 have lost their homes
- 30% of the population is unemployed
For many, $10 means two weeks’ worth of food — a lifeline for surviving and supporting their families.
Help that brings hope
Alongside the food packages, CITA ministers bring prayer and the Gospel, sharing God’s love — even among ruins, in shelters, or on the street.UPD. The campaign raised over $1,600, helping provide food kits for 160 people.
